Time for spring - and a comfortable tee with a bit of lace. FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Bust - 31½ (36, 39½, 44, 47½, 52, 55)". Intended to be worn with 0-4" ease. Size shown is 36", with 0" of ease. Length - 22½ (23, 23½, 24, 24½, 25, 25½)". YARN: 770 (815, 935, 985, 1110, 1194, 1312) yards DK weight cotton or cotton blend. Shown in Berroco Pure Pima (100% cotton) - Mauve Wood #2256. NEEDLES: U.S. size 5 (3.75mm) and 6 (4.0mm) 32" (80cm) or 40" (102cm) circular needles. U.S. size 6 (4.0mm) 16" (40cm) circular needles for sleeve and neckline edges. Note: Loose knitters may prefer to go down a size. Adjust needle size as needed to obtain correct gauge. OTHER: Stitch markers, stitch holders, waste yarn or extra needle for holding stitches for back. GAUGE: 22 sts/32 rows = 4" in stockinette, knit in round using larger needles, blocked. SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate. Techniques include reading charts, basic lace stitches, long-tail cast on, m1 increases, and picking up stitches. CONSTRUCTION: Knit from the top down, the upper back is worked first, with stitches for the fronts picked up from the cast on edge. Increases form the V-neck, and fronts and back are joined to knit in the round. Decreases shape the sleeve caps, and the body is worked to the lace and ribbing hem.
